We at Will Carleton Academy have had a great February, with celebrations ranging from our Homecoming, Athletes-of-the-week in the Hillsdale Daily News, Senior Night and more!
The first celebration we would like to showcase is our Homecoming celebrations from the beginning of the month. Spirit week included days that were themed around: Athletes vs Mathletes, Dress Like a Teacher Day, Decades Day and Rhyme without Reason Day. This is a great way to get our students and staff into ‘school-spirit’ and we were so excited to see so many of our community members get involved.
We also wanted to highlight what was a great way to end off our spirit week, with both Tyler Barnes and Madison Recob, from our Boy’s Basketball team team and Girl’s Basketball Team respectively, getting recognized as the Hillsdale Daily News’ Co-Athletes of the Week! This was a huge recognition of their hard work and we couldn’t be more proud of all that they’ve accomplished for Will Carleton Academy.
The last thing we wanted to highlight this February was the amazing turn out for our basketball teams’ Senior Night in which we celebrated five amazing seniors on their accomplishments both on and off of the court.
